Sean Mahony joined Mondial Expatriate Services in Cairo in March 1994, having completed a successful career in the British Army, first in tanks, and then as a Paymaster (Financial Controller). In 1996 Sean was asked by Mondial to move to Dubai, and cover Cairo by frequent visits, which he still continues to do.

Sean has vast experience in the financial world and holds the International Certificate for Financial Advisors by the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2002.

More significantly, Sean’s client base spans a range of different nationalities. Having said that, he has developed a keen niche in the area of UK Inheritance Tax & Pensions.

In 1997, Sean became a Director of Mondial at a time when Mondial acquired one of the first Central Bank Licenses, and along with two other senior partners, took full ownership of the Company and formed Mondial (Dubai) LLC, having purchased the ownership from Hansard International. Sean remains a share holder.
