Lourens hails from Johannesburg South Africa, the son of a Policeman who was honoured for distinguished service.

As a financial adviser, Lourens has built a significant client base since arriving in Dubai in 2001. Whilst maybe 50% of his clients are South African, the other 50% cover a wide range of nationalities.

Lourens has always been a dedicated sportsman blessed with a multitude of talents which helped him to reach high levels in various sports – Rugby, Tennis, Athletics, and Cricket – in which he represented his country “internally” during the period of isolation.

Lourens is committed to his family and enjoys the fellowship of his Church, which is why he says: “I enjoy life in abundance and love the people I do business with”.
